Axiom Shortlisted for Three ‘Made in Wales 2024’ Awards

Axiom Manufacturing Services has been named a finalist in three categories for the prestigious Insider ‘Made in Wales 2024’ awards. These nominations celebrate key achievements made between 2023-2024, with Axiom contending for the Apprentice of the Year (Olivia Jones), the Manufacturing Future Talent Award, and Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m).
The awards honour the success and innovation within Welsh manufacturing, acknowledging accomplishments across various sectors. The winners will be revealed during a ceremony at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel on Thursday, 24 October 2024.
With previous recognition at these awards, including winning Manufacturer of the Year in 2015, as well as Manufacturing apprenticeship scheme and Apprentice of the Year in 2019, we hope for continued success with our 2024 nominations.

One of the notable nominations is for Olivia Jones, an engineering apprentice on track to become Axiom’s next Production Manager.
Head of Axiom’s apprenticeship scheme, Alex Lewis, commented: “It’s fantastic to see Olivia recognised for her dedication to learning. She has a bright future ahead. At Axiom, we’re passionate about developing future leaders in electronic manufacturing and expanding opportunities for young people. This year we have welcomed 4 new apprentices onto our scheme, and partnering with local colleges and education organisations, we plan to expand our work with future generations to build careers in STEM, "
