The process for a seamless transition into Axiom starts at the RFQ stage where all of our teams will have reviewed your requirements and spent time analysing your data and specifications.
Once the order is placed there is a formal handover process where each of the functional process owners take responsibility for thier element of the project. From here the full project plan is developed.
A dedicated NPI Manager will be assigned to you, this is the interface between your team and Axiom and provides access to the appropriate resources to realise our goal of a seamless transition of your products to the production environment, with no impact to your schedule.
The NPI team now take full responsibilty for developing a robust project plan using critical path analysis to allow us to monitor achievement of project goals, check progress and (if necessary) to see where remedial action needs to be taken to get a project back on course.
Key activities include:-
- Ensuring that the product and process criteria have been met, and that improvement actions are identified
- Ensuring the product and processes are ready for launch
- Tracking milestones, activities, tasks, deliverables and resources across all phases of the NPI process
- Developing strategies for materials, manufacturing, and testing
- Ensuring smooth transition to volume manufacturing meeting your cost, quality and cycle time requirements
By understanding your needs and issues we can work together to reduce any potential product development delays, at Axiom we understand time is money and that you need a flexible manufacturing partner to cope with constant change in design and market requirements, who can work to eliminate risk and deliver added value services.
