Axiom is leading the industry with its proactive approach to assisting its customers with compliance to the ROHS directive. Axiom was the first CEM to be awarded the BSI Kitemark Approval to IPC-610D with lead-free capability in 2005, this was then followed with the accolade of being the first European Union site to receive IPC Certification for Lead Free Electronics Assembly Process Capability in 2006.
From initial component receipt, ROHS compliance is identified and tracked through a dedicated lead-free manufacturing process, ensuring product compliance on behalf of our customers. In conjunction with our strategic supply chain, Axiom has demonstrated its capability to assist our customer design teams with the transition of existing products to lead free whilst maintaining component rationalisation and consolidation ensuring the highest levels of product quality are maintained.
