Collaborating for profit and success seminar series

Date of next departure: TBA
On January 24th 2008 Axiom hosted a highly successful event which was run in conjunction with Aerospace Wales Forum and was the first in a series of seminars around the key elements of SC21.
Event one looked at collaboration, event two will look at innovation.
Twenty First Century Supply Chains (SC21) aims to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industry. With international competition increasing, the participation of companies of all sizes throughout the UK supply chain is crucial to delivering real results from this modernisation programme.
In tomorrow's world, the ability to respond to change and gain competitive advantage will require agility; supply chain excellence, anticipate changes in customer requirements, product offerings, supply conditions, regulations, and competitor actions.
One of the keys is to accelerate implementation of change is to capture the new opportunities ahead of the competition. In the future, companies will need to use collaboration to keep their innovation pipeline filled.
It is always difficult giving up your time to come to a seminar, I always ask myself several questions when deciding whether to venture out?
- What will I get out of the seminar?
- Will it provide me with some information that can help with some of the strategies that I am putting in place?
- Will I meet anyone who could be of benefit to my organisation?
This day will suit you if your organisation has any of the following needs:-
- You need a better understanding of SC21?
- You have ideas that you want to bring to market but need partners to help you realise them.
- There will be other companies attending that you would like to meet.
- You have never outsourced design and manufacturing before and would like the opportunity to hear about someone else’s experience – warts and all.
- You have gaps in your product portfolio and are interested to learn about some new innovations and how they could benefit your organisation.

We look forward to welcoming you.
Very few people work by themselves, and achieve results by themselves (Drucker, 1999). Although taken out of context sums up what we are trying to communicate. |
