PCB Assembly - Hand Insertion

Our PCB assembly extends to offering hand insertion of components. Not all components are suitable to go through an automated process. This is when the added benefit of having fully trained operators with an eye for detail completes our PCB assembly services:-

• Dedicated leaded and non-leaded capability
• Spray flux application
• No-clean process
• Component sub-assembly and forming - pre insertion

Axiom’s hand insert capability utilises continuous flow lines, 4 wave solder baths, automatic conveyance with spray flux application.

The printed circuit manufacturing process is based around no-clean principles with dedicated leaded and lead-free (RoHS compliant) solder baths enabling minimum change over times and maximum utilisation of manpower.

Complimenting the hand insert process is a dedicated pre-assembly, component preparation area allowing sub-assembly of components, component forming and leg cutting, delivering high post bath efficiencies to be achieved to IPC assembly specifications.
